During the 50's, a German family, related to a brother in law, came to the US to immigrate. They stayed with my family for a while and gave me this German doll. Over the years, this doll was damaged by young nieces and nephews. When I was sorting through the attic during COVID, I found the doll and decided to use it for an abstract photograph.
